Life can be overwhelming sometimes – like you’re drowning in stress, exhaustion, and emotional pain. You may be struggling to cope and wondering if things will ever get better. The good news is they can, and you don’t have to face life alone. If you’re ready for a positive change, I’m here to help.
We’ll spend time together understanding your emotions, building your strengths and creating clear and achievable goals. I can help you navigate feelings of frustration and overwhelm as you manage issues such as depression, anxiety and difficult life transitions. Therapy is more than talking – it’s about developing a relationship with your therapist built on trust, compassion and genuine care.
As a wife, mother, and professional, I understand how hard it can be to juggle everything and still find space for your own wellbeing. I’ve faced my own mental health struggles and know how important it is to find someone who can relate to what you’re going through. Now, I work with clients to help them see new possibilities for their mental health and wellness.
I specialize in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to redirect spiraling thoughts, Solution-Focused Therapy to help you recognize your strengths and capacity for change and Narrative Therapy to reveal new ways of building confidence and self-esteem.
With a heart for helping people navigate life’s challenges, I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard and supported as you move towards better days ahead.

Melis Karaoglu Registered Psychotherapist
A lot of people come to therapy when they’re exhausted from trying to figure it out on their own. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Change is possible. My focus is on eating and body image concerns, including binge eating, compulsive eating, emotional eating, mindful eating, and the complicated relationship with food that can take up so much mental space. I integrate mindfulness-based tools for emotional and binge eating through my Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT). I also draw on ACT and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, including Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E), an evidence-based approach specifically developed for eating concerns. My approach is structured and evidence-informed, and also warm and collaborative. Together we work to understand patterns, build practical tools, and create meaningful change.
Alongside eating and body image concerns, I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, relationships, personal development, and life transitions. If something else is bringing you here and it feels like a good fit, I’d love to connect.
Your experiences, values, and identities are met with care and compassion throughout our work together.
I’m a Turkish-Canadian therapist fluent in English and Turkish.
If this resonates, you’re warmly invited to book a free consultation. I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Meagan Leonard Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Meagan’s therapeutic approach is a unique blend of traditional Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), existential philosophy, and Jungian principles of self-development, which together provide a holistic framework for healing and growth. She works collaboratively with her clients to explore personal concerns surrounding purpose, meaning, and identity, empowering them to make choices more aligned with their emotional needs and core values.
Central to Meagan’s work is the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to identify and challenge the core beliefs and recurring thought patterns that shape how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. Through this process, clients can uncover negative thinking that may be limiting their potential. Meagan helps her clients reframe these thoughts, teaching them healthier, more constructive ways of thinking that lead to more empowered decision-making and increased emotional resilience.
Additionally, Meagan integrates aspects of existential philosophy into her practice to help clients examine recurring life themes and explore their relationship with concepts like purpose, freedom, responsibility, and death. By coming to terms with their values, clients can gain a greater sense of agency and meaning in their lives, leading to more authentic choices.
Meagan also employs Jungian shadow work, a powerful therapeutic tool that focuses on aspects of the unconscious—fears, repressed desires, and unresolved wounds—that we tend to hide or deny. Our shadow often shapes our behaviour in ways we’re not fully aware of and can prevent us from living authentically. By acknowledging and integrating their shadow, clients can reclaim lost or suppressed parts of themselves and learn to embrace their true identity without fear or shame.
Meagan’s approach is person-centred, non-judgemental, and exploratory. She aims to create a safe space for clients to delve into their concerns without fear of criticism. You may wish to work with her if you’re navigating a major life transition, exploring career options, experiencing ongoing relationship challenges, or seeking deeper overall meaning and understanding in your personal journey.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem challenges, or navigating difficult relationships, our time will be tailored to meet your unique goals and needs.

I also have a deep appreciation for the neurodivergent brain, valuing the unique perspectives and strengths it brings. With every client, I aim to foster a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can gain insight, explore your emotions, and develop practical strategies for meaningful change.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll often find me immersed in a great book, practicing yoga, or planning my next travel adventure. I’m inspired by thought leaders like Brené Brown and Jay Shetty, whose teachings on vulnerability, courage, and mindfulness deeply influence both my life and practice.
If you’re ready to take the first step, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and self-compassion. Let’s work together to create the change you’re seeking.
